Business Development Group

A significant feature of our approach to business is the implementation of a Business Development (BD) Group concept as a "force multiplier" in the successful pursuit of business/revenues from equipment sales to competitive, multi-year contracts for various types of services.This BD Group is responsible for opportunity identification and tracking, customer interface, bid/no bid analysis, proposal preparation and ultimate capture of business.

The group is headed by our Vice President of Sales and consists of sales and sales support personnel, our corporate Technical Director and a complete proposal development team. Many of the opportunities we pursue require a significant management, technical, and cost proposal in response to a formal Request for Proposal (RFP).

Our BD Group is capable of managing and developing several of these proposals at any given time. In 2007, our BD Team had a 50% win rate on competitive proposals where DCS was the prime contractor and we were responsible for the development and delivery of the proposal.
