About Us
The company was founded in 1994 as a Value Added Reseller (VAR) with the express intent of providing IT and Network support services and products as integrated solutions in the Federal Market Sector and in particular the DoD. Although the primary target market for DCS has always been the Federal Government Sector, we have also worked successfully in the Aerospace, State and Local Government, Education, and Commercial Sectors including the Healthcare and Finance Sectors.
DCS became a certified 8(a) firm in August 2000 and has offices throughout the US. We have an installed base of IT solutions at 35 Air Force, Navy, Army, Joint Command, and DoD prime contractor locations. The company's financial revenue and profitability have grown every year since its inception. Whether a prime or subcontractor, DCS has never received anything less than exceptional ratings and award fees for our performance. In fact, the Small Business Administration Regional Office in Los Angeles named our President, Joel Oropesa, as the recipient of the Small Business Person of the Year award.
Services provided range from building digital infrastructures, hardware and software acquisition and integration, and troubleshooting to systems restoration by an elite stable of experienced and highly certified experts. In recent years we have expanded our service capabilities to include testing and evaluation (T&E), modeling and simulation, and computer-based and classroom training to federal customers.
